What is this course about?
Faced with the rise in motorcycle crashes in Puerto Rico, this mandatory module under Act 107 trains safer, more responsible riders. It offers key instruction on defensive riding, protective gear and legal compliance across three core areas:
Protective gear and visibility
Learn to choose and properly use a certified helmet (DOT, ECE, Snell) and full protective gear, along with visibility practices that reduce the severity of impacts.
Legal compliance and endorsement
Learn your responsibilities under Act 22 and the requirements of Act 107 to validate your motorcycle endorsement, pass the exam and obtain your verifiable digital certificate.

What you will learn
Five educational modules based on local and federal standards for the safe operation of motorcycles and four tracks.
Module 1: Fundamentals, Act 22 and Motorcycle Types
Rider responsibilities, safety rules, legal requirements under Act 22, motorcycle classifications and pre-ride mechanical inspections.
Module 2: Dress for the Impact — Helmet and Full Gear
Impact absorption, safety certifications (DOT, ECE, Snell), helmet types, full body protection and visibility.
Module 3: Basic Control and Defensive Riding
Technical control and coordination, defensive-riding techniques, cornering, controlled braking and special conditions (rain, night, wind).
Module 4: Human Factors and Crash Response
Recognizing impairments, reaction time, emergency protocols, first aid and rider responsibility.
Module 5: Final Exam
Comprehensive assessment of all modules. Pass with 70% or higher to earn your verifiable digital certificate with QR code.

Yes. Under Act 107, completing this module is an indispensable requirement before you can apply for the road test and obtain the motorcycle and four-track endorsement in Puerto Rico.
You need a valid Puerto Rico driver's license. The system will validate your license number against the records to grant you access. Registration is completely free.
